Announcements:
Art read a card from Lizzy McDonald thanking Rotary for its generosity in the awarding of a scholarship to her. Art then announced upcoming speakers and reminded us that we will be
meeting at the University next week. However, on the August 13, we will be back at HMS. Art stated that help was really needed on the projects committee with Tom Bates as chair. Dan Otero volunteered and Gary Larson inquired about what this committee did.
Art shared that Harry Kellerman, Sunny’s husband is doing much better.
Jim Callendar discussed the bake sale and the idea of Rotary matching contributions up to $1,000. This has proved successful at past events. Linda Telaak questioned whether the money would come from the club budget or the Foundation’s . It was determined that it would come from the Foundation’s budget. Motion was made to approve the contribution of $1,000 by Gary Latson, Dan Otero seconded and it was unanimously passed.
Mark Richard said sponsors were still needed for the polio fundraiser in October.

Program:
Art then turned the program over to Peter Falley to give us a course on ClubRunner. He gave a very informative demonstration on the benefits of using ClubRunner. He answered many
questions and left us more knowledgeable about how to use it.

Meeting adjourned at 1:00pm.
