Program:
Ray introduced our speaker Karen Beckenbach, president of the Grant County Community Concert Association who spoke about upcoming season 2024-25 concerts. Karen stated that the Association provides more than just concerts. The Association provides free educational outreach for the kids even
providing bus service from the schools to the Theater. Also, the Association partners with several organizations, particularly WNMU department of cultural affairs, the American Legion, and the
Marine Corps. They donate season tickets to be raffled at such events as the The Commons Gala and Rotary events. Through a video she previewed the concerts for the 2024-2025 season. Karen mentioned that this year the Association is offering a pick 3, half season option for those who cannot attend all 6 concerts.
After Karen answered a few questions, Ray presented her with a small gift and adjourned the meeting at 12:32 pm.
